Municipality of Vaduz
with mayor (lic. oec.) Karlheinz Ospelt

Meeting place Vaduz

Vaduz is considered as an open and multi-faceted cultural, educational and economic metropolis. Vaduz, the main town in the Principality of Liechtenstein, offers its inhabitants as well as its guests an intact nature amidst a well-arranged infrastructure. The municipality has all conceivable employment, educational, cultural and sports possibilities in the immediate vicinity. There are only a few localities in the entire region which offer such a variety of events. Events are held throughout the year, in which Vaduz is the meeting place and the people have the opportunity to foster a sociable gettogether. The good infrastructure and various event localities such as the Vaduz Hall, Multipurpose Mall, Spoerry, Town Hall Square and Town Hall contribute to the fact that the location Vaduz can accomodate the increasing demand by private organisers from home and abroad. But the main town in the Principality can present itself not merely as a cultural venue per se. The Rhine Park Stadium in Vaduz is the only football stadium in the Principality of Liechtenstein approved for international games. It is the playing site for the FC Vaduz home games (Challenge League, second-highest Swiss playing class) and the Liechtenstein National Football Team.

Liechtenstein - and particularly Vaduz is not just a land of banks and postage stamps, but a land with many enter-  prises which enjoy a very good reputation the world over. For instance, fastening and  heating technology products, precision mechanical instruments, coating systems and dental products as well as many other products which require high technical know-how.

The meeting place Vaduz looks forward to cordially welcoming all guests. Vineyard facilities characterise the townscape near the centre. The Prince’s royal court wine cellars are   located at the largest vineyard. They are considered as a secret tip for wine connoisseurs and wine epicures.
