Gamprin is one of the three double municipalities as well as one of the five municipalities of the Liechtenstein Lowland, and has over 1’200 inhabitants.

This village offers all inhabitants a high degree of living and residential quality due to its natural landscape, and thus enjoys a considerable population increase as a result. Bendern is a historically significant spot, a location for flourishing service, industry and trade businesses, and is also an important traffic junction between Switzerland and Austria. That’s why many industrial and commercial businesses have the desire to establish their businesses in this interesting location.
Many things have visibly changed in recent years in the municipality Gamprin-Bendern, and for the most part have developed positively. In recent years, a gradual, yet totally renewed infra structure network (road network and infra- structural mains) again offers long-term, secure value for the municipality.

The parsonage has been refurbished, and the Liechtenstein Institute has been accommodated there. The parish church shines in a new lustre after a renovation. Last year local clubs could move into the clubhouse which was built especially for them, and which features an integrated fire department depot and an attractive youth den. The total refurbishment and expansion of the town hall is underway at the moment. A high-quality building with new technology and optimum thermal insulation is being created. The municipality places considerable emphasis on the optimal situation of the administration as a result of a self-contained wing. Furthermore, a modern hall with separately utilisable foyer is being constructed, and in turn this facility will satisfy the requirements of many users on a long-term basis.
The music club will find spacious premises in the new building. Parallel to that, a specially employed project group is engaged with the further development of the school building. Due to the newest requirements in the educational sphere as well as on account of the brisk construction activity, an even larger construction project will soon emerge in the school and kindergarten area.

With ca. 36’000 m2 of land, the municipality has acquired ground in a wonderful setting in order to build a leisure activity and sports facility on a mediumterm basis, and is thus able to provide a meeting place for young and old in the most central location in the Grossabünt between Gamprin and Bendern.

Gamprin also has a very attractive and lively club life, and advises the population to join a club in order to become acquainted with people, to gain new friends, and also to contribute to the cohesiveness of the village community.

The hiking trails, forests, meadows, the physical fitness course and the Lourdes Grotto - which is well-known far beyond the municipal boundaries - invite visitors to spend part of their leisure time in Gamprin, and/or to revitalise their body and soul.
